To help maintain the security of our systems and protect shared data, please take note of the following user access controls and password requirements for Claims Portal Web users.

Please review the key points below to ensure uninterrupted access to the Portal and ongoing compliance with our security policies.

Your Claims Portal Access

  • Ensure you have your own individual credentials to access the Portal.
  • Do not write down or store credentials on your computer unless using a secure password manager (e.g., NordPass).
  • Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using a business email address that is accessible only by you.

Organisation-Level Considerations

  • Keep your organisation’s contact details on the Portal up to date.
  • Register your organisation’s Portal account using a generic business email address (e.g., info@, admin@).
  • Set up individual user credentials for each person accessing the Portal.
  • Ensure each user verifies MFA using their own business email address.
  • Remove Portal access immediately when someone leaves your organisation or no longer requires access.

Password Rules (Web Users Only)

  • Password expiry: All passwords must be changed every 60 calendar days.
  • Password history: Users cannot reuse any of their last 12 passwords.
  • These rules apply to Web users only.

Password Requirements

When creating or updating your Portal password, it must:

  • Be at least 12 characters long.
  • Include:
    • One special character
      Accepted characters: |!"£$€%&/=?^'*+@°#,;:.-_()
    • One number
    • One uppercase and one lowercase letter
  • Not contain:
    • Any abbreviation of the word "password" (e.g., pwd, pswd)
