As part of our continuing program to improve security for Claims Portal, we will be introducing a token to A2A messaging. The token will apply an additional layer of security to verify the identity of the user, along with current credentials.

Test Plan and Integration Testing

The A2A token and password changes can be tested on the integration site from 7th November 2022.

We have created an RTA and an EL/PL Test Plan for you to use as part of testing the changes required for the A2A Token and Password Change Rules. The RTA and EL/PL test plans are available on our Claims Portal Website: https://www.claimsportal.org.uk/developer/a2a-technical-specifications/.

Ahead of testing system updates, please ensure that A2A users check that they have access to the integration site to complete testing. For more information, please refer to the details on our Claims Portal Website: https://www.claimsportal.org.uk/developer/application-to-application-a2a-token-authentication-log-in-access/

Technical Specifications and Recommended Approach

Technical Specifications have been released and are available on our website: https://www.claimsportal.org.uk/developer/a2a-technical-specifications/.

In addition, we ran a dedicated virtual workshop which covered technical details on the system changes for the A2A token messaging and password change updates.

This workshop was recorded and the recording is available on our Claims Portal Website: https://www.claimsportal.org.uk/developer/application-to-application-a2a-token-authentication-log-in-access/.

The workshop included a presentation and the presentation slides are available on our Claims Portal Website. Please be advised that our Technical Partners CRIF have included a section called recommended approach. This will assist developers on the changes required: https://www.claimsportal.org.uk/developer/application-to-application-a2a-token-authentication-log-in-access/.
