Acknowledgement of receipt

When the Compensators receive an EL/PL claim, they need to Acknowledge the receipt of the claim. The Claimant Representative will receive a notification.

Note: Acknowledgement of a claim does not constitute acceptance of liability.

Acceptance of a claim

If the Compensator Accepts the claim, the Claimant Representative will receive a notification.

Note: This only confirms that the claim has been submitted to the correct compensator/insurer. It does not constitute acceptance of liability.
