Release 6 changes - Guidance for Web Users to prepare for Release 6 – with less than three weeks to go until implementation

This work is necessary in order to deliver changes which are required to comply with general data protection regulation and to enhance the performance and governance of the system.

How can you prepare?

We appreciate the impact changes to the Portal has on our Users.

We’ve produced a short guide for Web Users detailing the changes in Release 6 and how to prepare.

Web User guide

In order to give you and your team the opportunity to familiarise yourselves with the changes being made to the Portal we’ve deployed Release 6 functionality into the Web training area. It is important that all in the team understand the changes and that you raise any questions with the Help Desk before Release 6 goes live.

Have you got access to the training site?

Please ensure that you and your team have up to date credentials to be able to gain access to the training site. If for some reason you can’t access the training area you will need to contact your Administrator to refresh your credentials, so that you can familiarise yourselves with the changed functionality.

How can your Web Administrator help?

Web Administrators - it’s important that you therefore check your access to the Portal is up to date to ensure you are able to support your organisation’s Users in gaining access to training and familiarise themselves with the site.

Deleting draft claims

Web Users with draft claims in the Portal should also progress these before close of business on Friday 5 October 2018 as after this time they will be deleted. Further details on deletion of draft claims can be found here.

To ensure you receive Release 6 and any other Portal updates as soon as they are posted, sign up/share this link to the newsletter with your team members.

If you have any further Release 6 queries, please email the Helpdesk quoting web R6 query in the subject header.
