Whether you're a Claimant Representative or a Compensator/Insurer, the Claims Portal is here to support you as an organisation to make it swifter and easier to process claims involving Personal Injury.

If you've already registered with us, we hope that you will welcome the changes we've made to this site – specifically, the tailored Walk-throughs, FAQs, News and User Guides and the scope to keep better informed of what's new on our home page.

And if you’re new to the Portal, to register, you will first need to choose (an) Administrator(s) who will then set up and manage your Portal account.

The role of Administrator is key to the successful set-up and running of your Portal account.

It is a critical role – that's why there should be two of you. Having two Administrators is a smart way to cover holidays, sickness or any other unforeseen absences.

At the outset, when setting the account up, it is vital that you have a firm grasp of the different Profile types and of Branches. (The latter especially if you are working for an Insurer/Compensator.)

Within both organisations - Claimant Representatives and also Compensator/Insurers – it is the Claims Handlers on each side who account for the primary activity on the Claims Portal.

The Claims Handler profiles vary. A Team Leader, for instance, is someone who has access to all claims within an organisation. That's why it makes sense to create at least 2 Team Leaders at the outset.

The claims process falls into distinct stages. These you should be familiar with. (See how your User Guide is carved up.) In fact, the design of the Portal assumes a working knowledge of this Process and of the related MOJ Protocols.

However familiar you are with the Portal, you may well benefit from the Walk-throughs we have created - designed to 'onboard' new users, and provide a 'refresher' to existing users.
